Clayton Prickett

I've been around computers my whole life. I grew up playing games on machines my cousin and uncle built, and I never stopped wanting to know how it all worked. I started out building websites for businesses with drag-and-drop tools, and eventually one question hooked me: who builds the website builder? Chasing that answer pulled me into the backend, then into architecture, and ultimately into full-stack engineering.

I'm equal parts analytical and creative, and software is where I get to exercise both at once. I like to understand a system from a high level first: the architecture, the data models, the boundaries. Then I obsess over the details, because that's where the devil lives. And I err heavily on the side of design: if I'm going to build something, I want it to be beautiful, and I want it to actually work.

Professionally, I started as a software engineering intern at TimelyMD and grew into senior full-stack and systems work across startups, enterprise logistics, healthcare, AI marketplaces, and sales automation. These days my work centers on AI agent systems: multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, and the workflow platforms around them. I build with OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, MCP, Kafka, Kubernetes, and the major clouds.
